Taking up Jean Vilar’s ambition of “elitism for all”, the Jeunes Talents association, created in 1998 and recognized as being of public utility, organizes concerts and educational activities in order to promote talented young musicians at the beginning of their careers and to allow access to classical music for all.

The Prigonrieux Animations association – a section of the Foyer Laïque Prigontin – managed by Pascal Rebinguet, has just announced the dates for the five main events of its 2024-2025 cultural program (1). It will begin on Saturday, October 19, at 9:00 PM, at the sociocultural center with the Quatuor 4D, featuring four saxophones in a concert titled “Souffle traditionnel” (Traditional Breath).

A symphonic concert, an evening of chamber music, an exceptional vocal concert, the screening of the film Boléro in the presence of the director and actor Raphaël Personnaz, two conferences, as well as the 4D saxophone ensemble which will introduce the Festival will allow you to immerse yourself for four days in the music of this French composer who is still too little known to the general public.

Two iconic landmarks of the local heritage, the Saint-Nicolas Church in Civray and the Saint-Sauveur Abbey in Charroux, will host the “Parenthèses Civraisiennes,” a project supported by the municipality of Civray, in collaboration with the AACE (Amicale des associations charloises et environnantes).
